The CELN is Canada's only professional organization that is exclusively comprised of lawyers who represent individual employees in cases involving wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, discrimination, contractual disputes and all employment-related matters.

There are many lawyers acting strictly on the side of the employer in this area of the law - it is hard for a lay person to find and assess a lawyer who will act to uphold the rights of the mistreated employee. We are committed to protecting the rights of employees against the greater resources of their employers and the defense bar.

Our Members
All CELN member lawyers have trial experience in Canada of plaintiff Employment Law. As such, we are better able to represent you in all aspects of this specialist area of Canadian law.

As a further condition of membership, our lawyers across Canada have agreed to offer a free initial opinion (via email or telephone) to Canadian employees who submit their current employment law related issue through this site. This allows you to make a judgment as to your next move based on advice from a local legal expert in the field.

We sincerely hope that you find our site helpful in resolving your current legal difficulties. If you prefer to immediately contact a local lawyer directly, many of our members have listed their contact details in our directory page.

HAVE YOU BEEN UNFAIRLY TERMINATED, HARASSED, CONSTRUCTIVELY DISMISSED OR OTHERWISE ABUSED BY YOUR EMPLOYER?

If so, then your best option is to consult a local Canadian employment lawyer who has a track record of successful practice in employment law.

With many member lawyers across Canada, the CELN website now offers employees the chance to submit their case for a FREE initial opinion from a local employment law specialist.

Simply fill in our Case Profile form, including your contact details and as much information as you can offer about your current predicament. Your case details will then be routed directly to an employment lawyer in your town/city, who will then contact you via telephone or email with an initial opinion on your case.
